Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem, who was recently diagnosed with kidney failure, said people have responded positively to his appeal for financial help with kidney surgery. 

The “Nigeria jaga-jaga” singer said he ha’s raised £4,269 (N2,136,345.49) so far and 

expressed gratitude for the affection and support he’s been receiving from his followers and well-wishers since he announced his ordeal.

On Friday, the veteran singer shared details of his GoFundMe account using his Instagram page, explaining it was created based on requests from concerned individuals.

The goal of the critical GoFundMe appeal was £48,000, the total estimated cost of the surgery.

The funds to meet the medical expenses are not yet complete. The singer continues to request philanthropists and the public to assist his cause by sending any financial contributions possible to facilitate the surgery.
