Chief Edwin Clark has endorsed former Anambra Gov. Peter Obi – the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party – for the forthcoming poll.

Speaking Tuesday to newsmen at his Asokoro residence in Abuja, the South-South leader and a former federal commissioner for information declared that with Obi as Nigeria’s president, the country would be more united.

According to him, whoever must emerge as the next president of the country must be educated and experienced.

Clark stressed that the southeast geopolitical zone should be allowed to produce the next president of Nigeria, insisting that the region has abundance of resourceful and educated people who can effectively govern the country at the highest echelon.
