Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah of Ananmbra State has survived an assassination attempt on his life.
Ubah’s convoy was reportedly ambushed and attacked by heavily armed gunmen this evening at Enugu-Ukwu in Njikota Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Ubah, whose car was riddled with bullets, managed to escape unharmed but scores lost their lives – including his personal aides and policemen, according to eyewitness accounts.
The exact number of casualties is not known yet.
Videos of the attack are all over the social media but they are too gruesome to watch.
