Qualified Nigerians have been asked to apply for the Chevening scholarships, an initiative of the government of the United Kingdom.
Nigeria made the call through the its National Universities Commission – NUC.
A letter signed by Chris Maiyaki, the deputy executive secretary in charge of administration at the commission and addressed to all vice-chancellors, said: “The National Universities Commission is in receipt of the letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ref.
