A young Nigerian Yahoo-Yahoo boy, simply named as Wasiu, has reportedly been murdered by his envious associates in Modakeke, Osun State.
The incident happened on Sunday, 14th August, 2022, reports said, adding that the police have arrested two suspects.
“There were four of them who committed the act but two escaped,” a source said. “The suspects were arrested after some farmers who witnessed the crime quickly reported to the police.”
Sources said upon interrogation, the two suspects confirmed the victim was their friend as well as confessed that they murdered him for no other reason that the fact he was making more money than them through Internet scam.
The suspects confessed they lured the victim into the bush and killed him with a cutlass.
They Yahoo boys took security operatives to where they killed their friend.
