Former Nigeria international and ex-Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has been appointed into the Technical Experts’ team of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Expressing delight at the new appointment in a tweet, Oliseh confirmed he had already begun work.
Oliseh said he’s particularly pleased to be working alongside former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger who’s now FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development and many others, including former Germany international, Jurgen Klinnsman.
“Extremely honoured to have been appointed by FIFA as a Technical Expert for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, in the privileged company of “Sir” Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klinnsman and 3 others. Work started last night,” he tweeted. “Qatar 2022 is looking great and ready.”
Super Eagles did not qualify for the tournament during the playoffs.
