Anambra Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and his wife Nonye were in St. Peters Square in the Vatican City to witness the swearing in ceremony of the bishop of Ekwulobia, Peter Okpaleke, as a cardinal by Pope Francis.
Okpaleke was one of the 20 new cardinals sworn in Saturday by the Catholic Church.
Soludo led the Anambra delegation to the event.
