Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, Thursday night became the first African artiste ever to headline the world’s biggest gaming event currently going on at the iconic NXT LVL Arena, Riyadh Boulevard in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter gave an electrifying performance to a mammoth crowd at the Gamers8 eSports concert.

The Afrobeats superstar and his band thrilled the crowd with smash tunes from his old and new music catalogue. 

He gave a stunning performance with an energetic display of hit songs like “Essence”, “Ojuelegba”, ‘Joro’, ‘Come Closer’, ‘Beat Of Life’, ‘Mood’, ‘Ginger’, ‘Soco’ and slew of others.

The ongoing event in the Middle East has come to be regarded as the biggest esports and gaming event in the world, where tournaments are played alongside entertainment and cultural displays. 

The event, which started on July 14, will end on September 8.

Wizkid’s performance at the gaming event comes a few weeks after he was announced as a headliner at the forthcoming Rolling Loud Festival in Miami.

Wizkid will perform at the American event alongside other international superstars. 

Dave will headline the opening night on September 9th. American rapper Future will follow up with his performance on Saturday, September 10th, while Wizkid will close out the three-day festival on September 11th.
