Sometime in March this year, all bank accounts belonging to Abia State were frozen.
Paranoid as ever, Abia State Government and her officials were quick to blackmail the Governor-Elect as the mastermind of their ordeal.
In less than two weeks, the state government issued press statements and made merry for “defeating Dr. Alex Otti” by squashing the said order.
With the embargo lifted, one had expected the civil servants and pensioners to start smiling to the bank but all to no avail.
Therefore, I ask – why are Abia State Civil Servants and pensioners still being owed?
Is the so-called Dr. Alex Otti’s court order subsisting?
Let me quickly reveal this hidden bitter truth to you, Ndi Abia:
It was Abia State Government, not Dr. Otti or someone else, that froze Abia State Government accounts.
Gov. Ikpeazu simply wanted to divert and distract the attention of Abia workers by creating an alibi.
Mark my words – this thieving government will not pay any other salary till 29th May.
